Apologies

Apologies, apologies!!! I have not been a very good website host...it has been 2 months since I wrote anything on here...WOW! I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving & a Merry Christmas, as well as a Happy New Year!! I, for one, am very excited about 2010...I mean, I know my 1st book was published in August, 2009, but other than that, 2009 was a very difficult year for me & my family. I have a feeling things will get worse (at least financially, which was what played a BIG part in the year being bad) before they get better, unfortunately. So many people are out of work, either laid off or permanently let go, it's just so sad! It would help us out tremendously if I could find some type of job, but I can honestly say that THERE IS NOTHING!!! I suppose I could have a huge pity-party, & blame it on my disabilities, but I just can't. I know the Lord has something in mind for me, & though I will continue searching for a job (never give up, right?!), I am going to have a sense of peace about it, & will be still, & know that God is God, & I am not!!
There was a huge earthquake in Haiti about a week ago...some people lost EVERYTHING!!! Those of us in America really have absolutely NO IDEA how blessed we are!! The majority of us will never know what it's like to not have the freedom to publicly say what we want to, the freedom to choose which religion we want to follow! Most of us will never know what it's like for some of these under-developed, third-world countries, where children don't know when their next meal will be, much less what it will be!
Thank you, Jesus, for all you have blessed me with! Forgive me when I complain, or worry, or am scared about what tomorrow may bring, thus showing a lack of faith! Give me a generous heart filled with gratitude!!!! AMEN
