Today, I had an appointment with the attorney who handled my 1st accident 24 years ago. 

It's rather appropriate,
I think,
that he would be the one
I would call to handle my 2nd
"near-fatal accident".

During our meeting,
when he was trying to decipher
some numbers I had written down,
I made the comment,
"See?  I still have difficulty with my writing."

He replied,
"But you're doing
so much better
than anyone
ever thought
you would."

How poignant & kind.

Does he know
he's my angel
today?
