Today I presented my story,
My life,
to the 5th & 6th graders at Valley Center Intermediate School.
It's so important to me for the kids to realize some of the long-term effects of bullying.
How a word,
something that seems so simple,
so insignificant,
that we are so careless with,
can cut just like a knife,
can leave scars just as bad.
Can damage & destroy one's psyche,
one's complete sense of self-worth.
Doing my part.
Making a difference.
