Making A Difference

Today I presented my story,

My life,

to the 5th & 6th graders at Valley Center Intermediate School.

It's so important to me for the kids to realize some of the long-term effects of bullying.

How a word,

something that seems so simple,

so insignificant,

that we are so careless with,

can cut just like a knife,

can leave scars just as bad.

Can damage & destroy one's psyche,

one's complete sense of self-worth.

Doing my part.

Making a difference.

Allowing God To Use Me

Bullying.
How cowardly.
Such a horrific epidemic.
Often with tragic consequences.

As God uses me,
Uses my story,
My circumstances,
As I bear my cross for all to see.

May He use me,
Use my story,
My past,
My tragedy.

To make a positive difference to others.

May I be able to

IMPACT,

INSPIRE,

INFLUENCE,

EDUCATE,

With my story.

I Honestly Don't Know

I know so little.
I am definitely the first to ADMIT that.

Each day.
Every situation.
Every encounter.

Brings more questions for

GOD.

About what

HE

wants. About what

HIS

desires are for us. And though I know

HE

always hears me when I call out to

HIM,

The answer, the reason, is not always clear.

It's as if

HE,

in

HIS

infinite wisdom, knows we're not ready, that we wouldn't "get" it, not yet.

So

HE

keeps it to

HIMSELF

for now. One day soon, all will be revealed.

But we should keep asking questions.
